Please i need help with size in jeans??!!??!!?

ok I have never shopped at Abercrombie and fitch before and unfortunately I don't live close to one to go try on pants. I am a size 12 at american eagle, so what size would be at Abercrombie and fitch? do the sizes run big or small? please help me.
