35 weeks pregnant and wondering when baby might be near?

I'm 35 weeks pregnant and I've been diagnosed with an irritable uterus.So i contract all the time without it stopping. I am also 3cm dilated and 60% effaced. I'm wondering if anyone else has gone through this and to see if their baby came early.
