Why is Leeds manager Simon Grayson letting Casper schmiechel go to leicester?

I know hes made a few mistakes , but surely he had enough good games to warrant keeping him. Is it just a case of cash, i cant find out what the fee is anywere. Whats goin on.We should be keepin our good players if were gonna get promoted.
