How do we fix this problem in Religions and Gods?

No matter which way you look at it, religion just doesn't make sense. But that's only if you assume there is truth in any religion. If you assume they're all fantasy, then they start to make sense because you can see the clear motive behind them. The clear motive being a form of control and a form of exploitation.
