Camping tips: making things comfortable for camping newbies?

Make sure you bring a lot of bugspray because there will be bugs! And if you don't want them getting in your tent then make sure you don't leave the flap open and just remember that they are attracted to light at night. Make sure the tent is big enough to fit everyone. To make it more comfortable you should air mattresses to sleep on and you just put your sleeping bags on top of them. As for the weather just make sure you pack warm clothes for night and regular clothes for the day if it will be warm. Make sure you bring a lot of water too and food of course. Bring matches or lighters to start a fire which you can do by making a circle of rocks and putting wood in the middle to light. Just make sure you put it out before you go to sleep! Make sure the food is contained so animals can't get into it and I suggest not keeping food in the tent lol. And make sure you have a hammer or mallet for when your putting up the tent so you can put the stakes in the ground so the tent stays in place. Other than that just sit back and have fun! When I go camping i also like to bring glo stix just for some fun at nite haha. :]
